Farriers Rasp Machete

We were able to acquire a number of old Farriers Rasps and decided to convert one into a machete. The blade was hand forged with the bevelling process adding a natural curve to the knife. The tang was forged out along with the finger grips and some additional shaping before we went to the grinder to shape and refine all the bevels and curves. The natural patterning from the original rasp elements makes for an interesting look.
