Chef's Knife

A commission for a birthday present for a professional chef, this 8" Chef's Knife was hand ground from O1 tool steel  and finished with an antique mahogany handle.

As this will be a working knife we black oxidised the blade to resist corrosion and sharpened it to a 6000 grit on our Japanese wetstones.
